code cleanup using hints from sonarlint, no change in output expected
- remove dead code, remove redundant specification of type arguments, reformatting
- make some fields final
- make some methods static
- add method Way.calcLengthInMetres and use it in LengthFunction, SeaGenerator, and LinkDestinationHook
