MapViewer in a view

Anuj Singhal
Hi,

I've gone through the tutorial on MapViewer. My application requires a map viewer at a particular location in the view. Whenever I set it to the view, it occupies the entire area. Is itt possible to do it? If not, can I use it in a dialog?

Regards
Anuj

<base href="x-msg://2/">Not sure I understand; the MapViewer is built around a normal widget that you can position using a LayoutManager.
You can also use it in a dialog if you so desire.

We tried to make it act like a normal "viewer"; just like JFace ListViewer you can use it (and lay it out) however you like.

Can I confirm you have access to the training materials and went through the "tracking" tutorial that covers the use of a mapviewer.

Re: MapViewer in a view

Anuj Singhal
Thank you for the reply. I've gone through the "rcp" tutorial which has the OverviewMapViewer class.
