closing easy issues

Jody Garnett-2
If you look at the graph on this page you will see I am closing easy issues prior to RC3.

One non easy issues was:
- UDIG-1527 New Window confuses Tools/Map: I have masked the problem by removing the new window button

Re: 1.2-RC3 pre release avaiable

Andrea Antonello
Hi Jody,
testing the new build on windows.

- rasters, tiff, ecw work great
- CQL filters in tableview work great

Reshape doesn't work for me. Tried to add a
length=geomLength(the_geom)
Using a file containing 60 megs of lines.

Putting reshape into the help search doesn't show up anything.
Searching manually found it. Guess that is an old problem though.

That's it for now.
Ciao
Andrea

Thanks for testing create bug reports :-)

I will make a second one tonight if we fix anything. Priority given to walkthrough 1 & 2 (which includes reshape). if you want CQL tested add it as an example to walkthrough 2.

Walkthrough 2 is in the public docs repository....

Will do that if at least one other person tells me that reshape
doesn't work for him. Does it for you?

CQL? You mean the filter? Works flawless.

Re: 1.2-RC3 pre release avaiable

Hi Jody,
If you get round to building an SDK version, I've just discovered that the RC2 release SDK doesn't include all the platform specific SWT plugins (it only included the Mac one). I was trying out an existing RCP app with RC2 on Windows so I just copied over the Windows SWT plugin from the uDig application download and it worked again. There may be other platform specific stuff missing which doesn't affect my RCP app so it would be worth checking for other missing plugins too.

Re: 1.2-RC3 pre release avaiable

Jody Garnett-2
I will build one later in the week after we get back the first couple of moments of testing :-)

Correct me if I am wrong; I though the SDK quickstart asks people to download the delta pack and set up a target platform to include it?

How could we ignore you :-)

I have uploaded a new SDK, I made it for "solaris" so everyone will need to have the delta pack installed :-P Wish I could make it without SWT as that would be cleaner.

Re: 1.2-RC3 pre release avaiable

Dave S-B
Well, for my purposes I've made a feature which includes (as sub-features) the udig features base, application, platform, printing and all their source features plus the libs source feature and just exported that as a deployable feature - so you get "features" and "plugins" folders. It doesn't seem to include much which overlaps with the 3.5 RCP SDK (only com.ibm.icu and javax.servlet). So, my target platform is;

3.5 RCP SDK, including delta pack
The exported feature

It all appears to be working so far...
