Hi all,
I have mysql table with a GeometryCollection geometry field.

Is it possible to view in uDig this kind of table?

Thank you very much,

Andrea

I would tend to say no. I think back in the days there was a way to
see simple point geometries from a mysql database, but right now I
didn't hear from mysql plugins for ages.

I think someone thinkered around with a ogr datastore, but I do not
remember who it was.
Jody, do you have any more intel on this?

I have no problem with POINT, LINESTRING or POLYGON geometry type. I have some difficult with GeometryCollection.

I think someone thinkered around with a ogr datastore, but I do not

Is it possible to add OGR virtual format - http://www.gdal.org/ogr/drv_vrt.html layers?
